I am in charge of putting together a community service event during women’s week at a college. I really want it to be something meaningful, so that the participants really are glad that they helped, and I also want it to be something that really benefits people. I was thinking of going to a local women’s shelter to give them a spa night kind of thing where we give them manicures and watch movies with them and stuff. But do you think that will be a big enough impact on them? I was also thinking of doing some sort of activity to raise money to donate to the Dove campaign for real beauty or some other good cause for women and young girls. What activities do you think would help the most, and/or what organization should we donate money to if we decide to do it that way?
